The Catholic church has persecuted minorities throughout its disgraceful history, and that has not changed. Why would any gay person want to continue being be a member of such a bigoted religion? I urge all gay Catholics, and everyone who supports equal rights, to leave the church. There are many other religions and churches that practice tolerance.
