Hasn’t Fred Karger ever heard of grass roots efforts? The LDS church didn’t need to do anything but ask the members to voluntarily give of their time, talents, and means to help see Proposition 8 pass. I think the church’s influence on this matter is being greatly exaggerated. Did it ever occur to Mr. Karger that the majority of Californians did not think that same-sex marriage was right?
