"Twilight"

Catherine Hardwicke's erotic vampire blockbuster finds the sweet spot where Gothic literature and the iPod meet. » Full Story on Salon.com

I am one of the mothers of pre-teens who has read the entire series. I did like the eroticism, because it was full of innocence and confusion, and reminded me of my first love. I think that I can relate to it and enjoy because of the nostalgic factor, and my daughter can because she feels these things and has no idea what they mean nor does she know what to do with them. It's something we can talk about, in addition to getting guilty pleasure from it.

Saw the movie and it should be changed to Tweenlight. Other that Edward and Bella who casted everyone? Stepahanie are you serious Nicki Reed as Rosalie? Really? Carlisle, too? I think it was the bad died Job for me. There are so many great acting real blonds you could have chosen. I think you need a recast. Too many long gazes made it forced. But my friends daughter thought it was the best movie ever, hence Tweenlight. By the way Bella's hair look like and old lady sprayed her aqua net over it. Get the screen writer from interview with a vampire the did a good job with there movie adaptation. I will probaly get teen death threats oh well.
