The year the small screen fell flat

Lackluster pilots, slumping sophomore shows and the devolution of the serial drama. The golden age of TV suddenly looked tarnished in 2008. » Full Story on Salon.com

TV had its golden age due to the fact producers were in full experimentation and hired shows that entertained...mostly from out of Burlesque, but they called it Vaudiville so it wouldn't remind the snooty of the girls who took their clothes off. The 1960s discovered that it could mold watcher behavior and and immediately began to sell more and better. Eventually the Producers forgot the entertainment part. They forgot the real information given in News. They thought people needed behavior modificatoin that seperated them one frm another . Eventually TV took race, religion, and country loyality and intesified each one into monsterous things that is set to destroy all culture. Even the Muslims that come into any kind of contct destroys and changes their own culture and religion forever. Cool huhb????
