The hunting of the president resumes

The right is trying to link Obama to Blagojevich and corruption -- and the mainstream media is playing along. The Clinton rules are back. » Full Story on Salon.com

I personally don't believe O had anything to do with that rat bastard Blagojevich and his pay to play bullsh!t, but what a hack job attempt at journalism.

Boo hoo, they are picking on us LIBERALS! Can you believe that?

Many comments seen daily on Yahoo! buzz have been echoes of talk-show 'hosts' like Rush Limbaugh, who has been spouting nonsense about "liberals" for decades. It is simple hate and fear-mongering. The world is watching America, and anyone who writes hate and bigotry comments on this page, which is read by the world and by our kids, are getting WAY out of hand. Thoughtful comments grow scarce as some even suggest "death" to entire races of people. Stop. You are NOT the voice of the nation. Act like men/women, and stop the nonsense, please. What a legacy the hateful leave!

We have come to a place in time in history where the fallout from decades of greed and corruption at top levels of government, industry and the media have hijacked our nation. The "depression" we are now experiencing will force us to either band together to demand fairness and accountability of our leaders OR we will go the way of the ancient Romans. The choice is ours.

Saying O had no knowledge of what was going on? How much more of a lame senator do you what to make him out to be? Shouldn't a senator know what's going on???? Yes. Part of the responsiblity of the position is to be informed. He doesn't have to be in agreement..but to be ignorant? Why, if you support him, do you not intellegently defend him?
Straight Republican Vote (but not proud of it, because it isn't perfect!).

Hunting? Attacks? How about legitimate questions? Mr. Obama's birth is a legitimate, Constitutional question. Mr. Obama's association with the Governor of Illinois is a legitimate question. I think Joe Conanson is afraid there may be some truth in all of this and that's why he's trying to derail the inquiry with this bogus rant he calls an article.

What are you afraid of, Joe? If none of this is true, then what are you, Mr. Obama, and Mr. Emanuel afraid of?

Obama knew what kind of person the Illinois governor was. As was his entire career, he chose to blend in and follow the Democratic flock and ignore corruption like this rather than face it. Obama's fault isn't that he was involved in the corruption. His fault was that he did nothing about it. But to be fair, he isn't alone. Congress is a culture of corruption. When the Republicans were in power, they were the main source of corruption. Now that the Democrats are in power, they are now the main source of corruption.

I see the Democrat National Committee is alive and well in this Forum, evidence being the talking points, direction of the thumbs and the hatred. WANT MORE? How about Maynard prints from the Great American Constitution? We will see, Good day.

The Democratic political machine in Chicago has been a tool of corrupt gangsters and union leaders for generations. What's new? Of course Obama knew about it, and he swam with the tide for political expediency. There is no excuse for the American voters' not knowing about this except that the media refused to broadcast anything about Obama. We bought their line, now we have to live with the consequences!

As a Conservative I have always done my best to back the President. I have not seen anything connecting Obama to this guy in an illegal fashion, I will stay tuned.

I also conclude this article tries to blame all Democrat corruption on Republicans wrongly accusing them, that's brainwashing. Furthermore, a liberal writer who's headline speaks of "Hunting" is so inflamitory to both sides I think it should be monitored like some bloggers.

Obama is a better man than the writer, he has after all appointed people to the right of his campaign, hahahaha libs.

When one sets foot into the Politics of Illinois or Louisiana(and several other states), one's feet get dirty by association. This is a story Obama's people should have been way out ahead of - but, no - they shilly-shally around it. I've got $100 that says Rahm Emanuel doesn't make the trip to the White House.

That said, just how many people can Obama 'distance' himself from? As my late mother used to say - "You're known by the company you keep.".

The rules in the mainstream media have been different for Democrats and Republicans for a long time. If a Democrat did 1/10th of the stuff that Bush did, he would have been crucified by the media and impeached.
