Dems need to start going after republicans on healthcare. They have allowed them to frame the debate too long. 70% of Americans support a public option for people who insurance companies deny coverage to. If you are uninsured you have a 40% higher chance of dying than someone who is the same age and health as you. Republicans also voted against both medicare and social security and they have become the two most popular programs in the government. Republicans have no plan to help the middle class and small business who are currently getting screwed by insurance companies. If Dems are to pass reform and not be slaughtered in the midterms they need to give people a reason to vote for them.

Just read the article about the African-American members of the house are telling obuma how to win in the Senate. I see a problem with this and it certainly makes the argument that most of the 47 million uninsured are AA and these members want Americans to pay for the freeloaders that do not work.
