Philadelphia Orchestra departs Monday for 3-week Asia tour
May 15, 2008 - The Philadelphia Orchestra leaves Monday for a three-week tour of China, Japan and Korea. Led by Christoph Eschenbach as he finishes his five-year tenure as music director, the orchestra performs in Beijing to mark the 35th anniversary of its historic 1973 trip to China.
