How long before we see whites start demanding membership in NAACP? While everyone is born equal, it's what you do from that day forward that determines how far you're going in life. For the hard worker to have to dole out to pay for the slacker is what is ruining this country. Kids need to be taught from day one on that if you want something out of life you need to get out and work for it. No where in our Constitution does it say that everything is going to be furnished for you. You're free to work and move up in life just like everyone else...

I remember this time when I was like 14 and I had a ticket for a flight and I was the last person to board and since this HUGE man was spilling over into the last open seat, they told me I couldn't board!!!

Amazing, the actions of Kids Camps, when trying to "organize" swim privleges for their Day Campers...load 'em up an overwhelm the pool capacity...then claim racism! Sorry, but what else is new for a large group of unsupervised black boys to become annoyingly unruly in their behavior. Their behavior rarely coexists mannerly with white families. Never has before, and unless behaviors change, the situation will never work. Face it Black America...differnces do exist, prejudice exists in all men. Do not force your presence where it is not wanted. You have Black Entertainment, Balck Miss America, Black everything else...build a swmming pool for the camp kids...solve the problem, do not exacerbate the problem.
Good news, it looks as if enough land is availabel nearby for the NAACP to finance a pool of large enough proportions to accomodate all those day campers just fine.

The "Camp Director" will never accpet an apology, because now she has the T.V. and internet attention, she will play this for all of its possible value. If Al, Jessie and Jeremiah can be brought in she will do it. Just watch. i remember going to school during 1972 Texas. Blacks were bussed to the high school; black boys would gather in middle school halls to harass white students. I was attacked several times, cut with a knife, my clothes ripped or stolen, beaten severly, kicked & mauled, finally the police intervened, much to the chagrin of the 'black communty' "interferring with those boy's rights to freedom of speech"....ehhhh? Finally five arrested, tresspassing, weapons charges, and drugs. My personal opinion of black people was changed forever that year. I was just starting 6th grade when I was knifed & mauled by a large group of high school juniors (who were 19 & 20 year olds). I thought school was a safe place but I learned that black people are not safe people. I soon finished my Ph.D. in Mathmatics. I believe my "black-radar" developed during my 6th grade year has saved my life many times.
This is just sad......making racial comments in front of kids and the white parents grabbing their kids from the pool when they saw the day camp kids coming. I think any sensible person should disassociate themselves with that swim club. And besides that, they still plan on segregating the kids by having them come at certain times when their racist members don't use the pool. It's just disgusting that people still exhibit that behaviour in the so-called "Land of the free". Where's the freedom?
I'm a head server in a Kentucky Restruant. Blacks come in all the time. Demand Perfect Service..and act like they are the TOP DOG and should be served first..before anyone else. They pull this high and mighty attitude ALL THE TIME. Its sickening. Then when we just do our job and tend to other customers and are not by thier tables at ALL TIMES...suddenly its a race thing and that we are ignoring them cuz they are black.Then insist that money gets taken off thier bill because of it....SOUND LIKE A SNOW JOB??? Of course. Just another way for them to get something for nothing. Cry racism and everyone bows down and kisses thier azzes. GET THE F$%K OVER IT. And thats exactly what this Swim Director is doing. Trying to get something for nothing crying racism. Throw HER in the pool and let the cow drown.

Who is it that is segragating themselves? Why that would be the blacks. Negro's can have any number of programs or places to go, specifically for them and ONLY them, yet the white people cannot. It is only called racism if whitey does it.
Integration was forced upon both blacks and whites, for schooling at least, and it is the blacks who can separate themselves and its alright? no that is racism right there. if groups of people want to be with their own then it should be allowed to be so! this is for anyone of any color.
If theses kids exhibit the typical black "behavior" we have all seen in public, I can understand why they were kicked out.
The pool ALSO has a responsibility to other members who went to the pool for a swim, not pool time at the spider monkey cage at the zoo.
It seems to me that there must be more to this story. I cannot imagine anyone saying negative words just because they have nothing better to do. Something else happened here, and we are not being told the whole story. So, without the complete facts, I cannot get angry either way. Sorry H8ers, and H8H8ers.

When I was a child swimming in a public pool, I remember a terd went floating by. I won't go to a public pool. It was traumatic. Those are the people we need to look out for.
I am against reverse discrimination. However, what this swim club did was racist in the most vile way. The worst part was that they first let the summer camp pay for the children to come, and when they showed up and it was obvious that the majority of the kids were non-white, THEN the club members made their insensitive remarks and basically ejected them from the pool. If I were the management of the camp, I wouldn't subject the kids to revisiting the site of their embarrassment. I think it would be hard to explain what happened to young children, and their feelings have been hurt. Bottom line, the swim club is at fault, and I SMELL A LAWSUIT!!!
Well this gives new meaning to "Dropping the kids of at the pool!"

The reason for this precaution is understandable. The background's the camp is referring to may have given reason for such action. However, not all African's & Hispanic's are a cause for concern. I feel that the move was innapropriate but I understand the camps concerns based on reported behavior of such backgrounds. The parent's that want to file a lawsuit against the camp are the one's that need to be blamed or held responsible for such innapropriate behavior by their children. They dont realize and understand that their example and lack of guidance is causing this stereotype about their children and or background. These individuals are the problem with society as a whole. Stop blaming others and take responsibility and then you wont give people a reason to raise doubt about your behavior or your children.
How can anyone hold the swim club responsible for the racist views of america. American only act as their country has taught them to hate, rape and kill other of other of anothre color. a safety issue is learning to swim in your bath tub because racism in america has cause your community to suffer though 400 years of racism. Hungry, Homeless and deprivied chilldren of color. football and basketball are not the only sports.

Why has the city not had a publicly owned pool for these children anyway? It seems that either the city or the federal government could have had one built years ago. I don't think that the swim club should be held responsible when the facility was overwhelmed, but then I'm from a whole different time and I live in fly-over country so I probably just don't understand.
You don't wash your white clothes with the colored clothes. Very simple and we all do this or we risk losing our clothing.
