There are more detailed articles out there about this issue. AT&T has stated that the number of phones given out were in small numbers. The third party company that tallied the votes for the AI finale also has come out to state that Allen did win by a large margin of votes, therefore the amount of phones given out wouldn't have offset the total count either win- Kris Allen still would have won.

Adam is better off not winning. He won't be tied down to the contract the way Kris will be. Adam will do better than Kris financially in the long run. Watch and see. Of course I won't be buying any of their cd's, I haven't bought a new CD in more than a decade.

A bright future is waiting for ADAM Lambert, if the news is true..... then let the culprit suffer the consequences and definely its not him...fans are now waiting for Adam first album and so sure it will be No. 1....He will be the most successfull American Idol.
