John Travolta: Scientology Helping Us "Heal" After Jett's Death

You have to be a brain dead moron to believe in any religion, but you have to be a complete brain dead moron to believe in something like scientology....a 'religion' created by a con man/salesman wannabe sci-fi writer

First, the pain and loss this family is suffering goes beyond words. I think many people thought that their son had some sort of an issue when they basically kept him out of the light and didn't speak much about it.
Autism needs someone like John Travolta and his wife to speak out and tell their message- not hide it because of some so called religion. Shouldn't religion be based on telling the truth? and honesty?

I hope they speak more about their son and tell his story and who he was as a person. Tell people how proud they were of him etc. The people who tried to extort money off of their son's death- no matter what the circumstances- are the bottom feeders of the earth. Disgusting and pathetic.
I wish this family well.

Stay strong Travolta's. Whatever it takes to get you through this sad time in your lives I think you should embrace it.

Nevermind that it was probably due to Scientology's limit on what type of care Jett could have gotten for his condition prior to his death that probably lead to his death. Shameful. I love John's acting and I'm sure he was a great dad but how blind can a man be?

I understand the grief and pain this family is going thru but give me a break. How many other families (such as our military families) go thru this every day and they dont have their mugs up on the internet. We feel for you Travoltas, now get on with your lives, please!!! Jett died because he was an autistic prone to seizures and his parents, while loving, denied him a very safe drug called Tri-lep-tol. which prevents seizures. We should know. Our 16 year old autistic had a bunch of seizures before we put him on this drug, and increased restrictions on his diet.

I think it's sickening that the Travolta's are so "brainwashed" by scientology that they ALLOWED their son TO DIE instead of giving him a seizure medication that would have saved his life! AND they refused to let the EMT transfer their son in an ambulance to save his life, AND then say that they are getting strength from scientology? when scientology HATES weak/sick people, which would have included their own son? yet they are still in the cult...and promoting their daughter's movie? I am no longer a Travolta/Parker family fan!

Scientology is just as silly as any other religion. They believe in aliens, other delusional people believe in talking snakes, virgin mothers, the rapture, and that the earth is 6,000 years old. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I was healed once by scientology. Afterwards, dead relatives kept appearing in my home. At first it was cool, but since I'm a writer working at home, it became very disruptive. I don't know how to get rid of them!

There is no man made doctrine or some sick cult that will cure or save you. We serve a living God who created us and who will comfort ands strengthen us in all things. A person who seeks solace through an obsession with a cult, a particularly denomination or some asinine doctrine, if that 's what you want to call it, is a fool.
