Better that Major Hasan not recover from his wounds. He would hopefully spend the rest of his life in a military prison. Prayers to those and family members who have been injured or killed.
Maybe now they'll reconsider sending people to Iraq or Afghanistan if they don't want to go. Just give them a General Discharge and send them on their way. If the Army can't dig up enough soldiers to fight, shut it down and bring them home.
It is difficult if not impossible to maintain that Islam is a religion of peace when warfare and booty were among the chief preoccupations of the prophet of Islam.

This jackazz listened to soldiers with PTSD talk about their war experiences and he considers that "knowing war first hand"? I do know what war is first hand and listing to war stories is not it. I am so glad this piece of shiz is not dead. He needs to spend the rest of his life in prison. There is no parole in a military prison. Man, if he was so hell bent on not going to war, why didn't he kill himself instead of the other innocent people.

A few things to remember. First of all, as stated in another story, he did NOT have first hand experience with the war. It was all second hand. You can't have first hand information unless you were THERE.
Second, Remember this is a MAN of the Muslim faith, not the faith here. Don't condemn the religion for the actions of one man. If a faithless person commits a crime does that mean that all people without faith are bad? (Well, you get the point)
Third, He obviously had a great deal of stress dealing with the impending deployment and saw this as the only way out. I sure wish he had turned to wrath on himself rather then include others in it.
Fourth, if he recovers from his wounds he will then be in the Military Justice system. That will be his greatest punishment. The military has much stricter standards then does the US in general.
Prayers go out to those family members that are affected by what he has done.
Let's all learn what we can from this.
it saddens me to see that someone we trusted to take care of our men and women and make sure they were ok could do something so disturbing. my hubby is an iraq vet and everytime we lose a soldier its like he lost another brother or sister and the hurt never stops. I hope that this man relizes what he has done and has to think about everyone he hurt and all the pain he caused mothers, fathers ,wives, children ,brothers and sisters blood and in arms. and i hope he suffers. my prayers are with the families and the wounded.

Americans are being led by those who preach diversity and acceptance of those who do not subscribe to our core values and beliefs. Muslims who thump the Koran do not respect the lives of "infidels." Any American community who has a Muslim population should be on alert. Cities and towns where universities are located should be doubly concerned. We must not allow Muslims access to strategic assets such as transportation, food, fuel and water. The next sad, sickening news may be that some wild-eyed radical Muslim poisoned the water supply in a city and hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people have been killed. Trust these fervent believers at the risk of losing your loved ones or your own life!
His name should of been our first clue of a potential problem,"Nidal Malik Hasan". It's our fault for letting these peace loving "terrorists" in our country. Forget about his stupid wounds, put his butt in front of our tanks in battle and help clear mines, if he gets it, no big loss!! or make him walk around over there wearing a shirt that says "mohammed sucks" and see how far he gets.
