MY MOM KNEW MIDGET JERRY NARRON FROM NEW YORK IN THE LATE 1940s. I LIVED IN COVINA AS AKID AND IN 1959 LITTLE OSCAR WAS DOING A PROMOTIONN AT THE MARKET BASKET ON SAN BERNARDINO ROAD. WHEN HE SAW MY MOM THEY HUGGED AND HE DROVE US TO OUR HOUSE ON EDNA PLACE, IN THE WEINER MOBILE, FOR ICED TEA. EVERY KID IN COVINA MUST HAVE BEEN THERE!!! WHAT A MEMORY!!!

I remember Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes being pictured with the Voxmobile. The caption said something like "world's fastest guitarist with the world's fastest amp."
