10 Species You Can Kiss Goodbye

Listed as critically endangered, these animals may not live to see the end of the next decade without the a similar effort of human intervention that brought them to the brink in the first place. » Full Story on LiveScience

well obviously, it is a shame that we (humans) will kill all these animals permanently. its really shameful that in the history of the earth these animals will cease to exist. you would think that something should or would be done to fix a problem that is surely going to happen. this loss of life is a reminder of how out of control the human population is.

the biggest cause of species extinction is habitat destruction, which is ultimately a result of human overpopulation. we are building bigger and bigger mcmansions, which is encroaching on wildlife habitat and causing environmental degradation. think about how much garbage you produce, all the crap you pour down the kitchen drain, and the chemicals and fertilizers you use at home that spill down into the gutter. then multiply that number by hundreds of millions and then you can see why there is barely any wildlife left on earth.
The most effective thing you can do to help prevent mass extinction is to not have any kids. Use birth control. Help others who lack education or are impoverished get birth control. Vote out politicians who continue to support policies of waste and unsustainable growth.
