China: Uighur Factory Workers Held Behind Locked Gates

SHAOGUAN, China -- Three weeks after simmering racial tension escalated to mayhem and a double murder at a toy factory here, about 750 Uighur workers remain largely out of sight, behind locked gates and guarded doors. But their story has sparked violent clashes and brought international attention to a remote Chinese province. » Full Story on Huffington Post

The world must never forget that China has yet to establish a democratic and multiparty system and that the minority in control, the Communists, will use any means to avoid yielding their position of privilege and power. There are no civil rights in China and there is no freedom of religion. Hence, issues such as this and what happened in Tibet will continue to crop up as long as the Communists fail to yield or are overthrown.
The world needs to let the Red Bandits running China know that denial of civil rights and abuse of its citizens is no longer acceptable. The evil crushing of the demonstrations at Tienanmen Square, the murder and oppression of minorities in Tibet and now in Xinjiang, the imprisonment of critics of the Red regime - all these have to draw to a close or China may burst on its own.

This is an unusually well written article, refreshingly thorough and penetrating. I have been trying to follow this story and the details are confusing. This article, though, clarifies some of the confusion. I appreciate that and the effort made by the journalist to dig a little deeper and sort out some of the confusion common in the public's understanding of this event. I would be interested in knowing more about two aspects of this story. What is the history of both the Hans and Uighurs related to racism with OTHER assimilation experiences with OTHER ethnic groups? I mean, if this is a "cultural clash", is one group historically more prone to racism, more reactionary in that matter than the other? And, I would like to know how the government addresses racism. Is it not answered until there is violence? Does or does not the government frown on racism as anti-social behavior?

China will take care of these idiots with a bullet to the head. Simple and effective. They know the laws and they should also know about the bullet to the head. Rights? You have no rights either if you are labeled such and such according to the Patriot Act. Wake the hell up!!!! You aren't free at all, you are just a free tax paying slave.

Some of you hate Bush.
Some of you hate Obama
Some of you hate both
Some of you hate neither.
Muslims hate you all, and believe it is their duty to kill you all, rape your wives and daughters and raise the bastard children as Muslims. That is how the Koran instructs them to spread their religion.

There is nothing our enemies like better than to see us screaming insults at other Americans

This is not a Reb Vs Dem situation, this is a fight to preserve our Nation our culture and our lives.
.
While we are distracted suddenly we have a Mosque or 2 in every town, halal meat in every school, if one of them feels affronted by a perceived insult to their religion, they sue us.
Take a look at what is happening in Europe, try visiting London England and see what happens when you try to appease these people. The Brits are so scared of the Muslims they have amongst them, that when mentioning Muhammad on the BBC news if they don’t call him the prophet Muhammad they get sued.
