I know that I will get lots of hateful responses to this, but it needs to be said. The Uighurs are in no different a situation than the Tibetans. They are not Muslim terrorist, many of them are only nominally Muslim. What they are is oppressed financially, and ethnically, as well as religiously.

The Uighurs are, under Chinese law, supposed to be allowed to keep their language and culture, but if they do so, they cannot find decent jobs and are relegated to the worst positions economically and culturally. A few "tokens" who are educated and culturally assimilated to Chinese ways hold visible power positions.

Many of the best educated of the young Uighurs leave the country at the first chance because they know their prospects are so slim. It is a sad situation being made worse by the ignorance and negligence of the rest of the world.

The Chinese government will not tolerate the muzzies like the rest of the world has to. I have to give China credit on that. I don't agree with all they do in China, but they'll send them all straight to Allah before they put up with their crap. Go China!

In my neighborhood, we get a lot of fliers from Chinese restaurants on our windshields.

Theis article needs to call it for what it is-- this isn't an "ethnic riot", it's a muslime rebellion uprising, the muslimes are getting voilent just like they are elsewhere all around the world towards those who are not fellow muslimes. What we need is for these muslimes to fight amongst themselves as to who is the more holier, the she-its or the sunni. Redirect their attention towards killing one another rather than others.

I learned someting very important from watching Larry the Cable Guy. When you find yourself in a conflict such as this one, you first need to determine who's a sheit, a sunni and a terd and in this case, a commie.
