Does the author of this article have a thing for Sotomayor? I've never seen such tripe in my life?

I think it is completely appropriate that the author feels wholly inadequate he or she certainly is. But then it is the Huffington Post so what can we expect?

What a pitiful and lame crock.........I would think the biggest obstacle she's faced is her ugliness and not just in her physical looks. There exist a lack of class and a look of nastiness about her; and, according to some who have worked under her is the bullying arrogance of her dictatorial nature and demeaning attitude. Kinda sounds like Obama. But, physically, she is ugly too, Man, is she ugly!!!

The concern for us all is whether she has a predisposition to make rulings in favor of minorities, simply because they are minorities, and how it will effect the Supreme Court? Will she rule based on Law or be an activist?

Thinking the quality of her work isn't good enough to get a deserved promotion, she tries to climb the ladder socially. When I voted for Obama, I thought he was a smart man however I am having second thoughts on his decision making abilities; Soto mayor is going to be the worse decision I have ever seen and she is bad for America period.

This was a poorly-written article - I will admit to that. However, I have to agree with the fact that there is nothing in her past that can be brought up against her, so things she said are being taken way out of context. Sorry, it can't be a white's world forever. Pres. Obama is looking for someone qualified, not just someone white.

I found this story to be interesting and true, but if you are not a minority you will not understand, it you do not have an open mind you will not understand. It is logical for people to throw stone and critcize things they know nothing about such is the case with Sotomayor. She has a valid point. I think it falls apart, though, in using Girlfriends as an example. I've watched the show many times and it is NO Sex and The City. In fact, it's a poor knock-off of the show. There is a reason it was on UPN/CW instead of HBO or a major network.
