Gail Lowe: Perry Picks Creationist To Run State Education Board

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) has chosen Gail Lowe, an outspoken creationist, to run the state's Board of Education.

It was actually the less controversial choice. Cynthia Dunbar, reportedly under consideration for the post, believed government should be guided by a "biblical litmus test" and thought public education was a "subtly deceptive tool of perversion." (She home-schooled her own children.)… » Full Story on Huffington Post

Okay, Rick, we give. You CAN secede now. And if any of you are bitching about people from other countries getting top jobs in the sciences here in America, take a look at stories like this....

Well, of course Ricky would choose someone like this. He recently emerged from the "ooze pit", himself! Oh, I'm a Texan and I would prefer that my child be taught weakness is any THEORY. Cripes, look what has happened in the case of Al Gore's imaginative theory.

What the story did NOT tell US is that the committee's primary objective is to re-write American history. YES believe it or not, this prick wants to delete the word 'democracy' in every historical document replacing it with 'republican'!!! Talk about an autocrat DICTATOR. Who exactly do you think you are RICK? How dare you CHANGE our precious history. The 'committee' is loaded with Republicans 5:1 ... You don't believe in DEMOCRACY do you Governor. He REFUSED unemployment funds provided by the Stimulus earlier in the year and now he's BEGGING for HELP! Jerk. What a fundamental hypocrite on so many levels. He’s boasting about starting a 'revolution' - WoW!. If you can't win with votes and you can't win by cheating guess there's only one thing left to do, right RICK? Game's UP.

Oh and, he had a difficult time choosing between a journalist and a stay-at-home mom to run the Texas State Board of EDUCATION? Why NOT appoint an EDUCATOR to chair the EDUCATION Board Rick!

This is the kinda person Republicans choose as their Leader? Crazy. Geo. Bush the Alcoholic drop-out... Arnold the Actor... Sarah the Foreign Relations expert... Gun-totin Cheney... 8 NATIONAL Leaders having Affairs in ONE year ... OMG. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Hey Lin - I've read your rants across a number of blogs today. You've been blasting anyone who has a conservative view as racist, mean-hearted, etc yet your words are no better. And sometimes even worse. I can respect people even if I differ with them. What I can not respect is someone, regardless of political view, that writes the kind of b******* you consistently post. I'm sorry for being direct but if you want to take the time to blog and challenge people to change, I'd urge you to consider your postings as they come across as nothing more than venom from a bitter old woman.
