Why do we need to involve Congress to honor Michael Jackson known as The Greatest Entertainer Who Ever Lived aka The King Of Pop aka A Wonderful World Humanitarian when EVERYONE ALREADY HONORS HIM THAT WAY ANYWAY? WE DON'T NEED A RESOLUTION TO PROVE HE HELPED PEOPLE WITH HIS GIFT FROM GOD MUSIC TALENT...THE JACKSON FAMILY IS HONORED BY THEIR GIFTS TO SOCIETY AND RIGHTFULLY SO. MICHAEL JACKSON WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS A GOOD PERSON FROM THOSE THAT LOVED HIM THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM HIM!

Michael Jackson was a great entertainer no one can deny that but this is going to far he went on national t.v. and said he would not come back to the U.S. until that boy was to old to press charges, he then paid off the childs family the mother gave all the money to the kid and the kid cut her out of his life because while he was with MJ his mom was living the good life, sounds pretty bad to me; he admitted on national t.v. he would share his bed with kids, he had a very serious drug problem he was a great entertainer without doubt but that's all

Michael Jackson was a twisted man who sought from children the affection his father denied him as a child, thinking his own extreme behavior toward children a benefit to them. It is a mark of his mental instability that he weighed only 112 pounds when he died. He was trying to kill himself somehow. His show business star dimmed in the 80's, so its fortunate that despite his torments, he did manage to leave a sizeable estate to his three children. God works in mysterious ways, that's certain.

Has anyone heard the rumors that Michael Jackson was being charged again with molestation? They supposedly were going to arrest him the next day. I have also hear all the rumors that this is a grand ruse that MJ is still alive and well and living in another country in order to avoid even more accusations of child molestation. I read this rumor the other day and could not find anything else on it. So if anyone can tell us something it would be appreciated.

the only one that knows the real truth is God and now michael will have to face him and answer for anything he did wrong. just like the rest of us will have to do. so before you all go throwing stones look in the mirror and if you can look at your self and say you have never done any wrong (which i dought) then you can judge someone else. i dont know if he did that stuff to kids but for the parents to settle for $ out of court makes me think he dident. i have 3 kids of my own and if someone did that to my kids no $ in the world could make it right only justice against the person that did it would satisfy me. not money.

For the first time in my career as a Republican, I agree with Pelosi. She won't lose her seat for this. Why? 80% of her district constituents are gays/ lesbians.
I do admire African Americans for their stands against same-sex marriage & against gays/ lesbians beside many others: sports, music, etc.

Like I said before to all the haters of blacks and Michael. You had just better hope when your ticket is punched that you don't end up in the bottomless pit because hell takes all kinds of people. I am surprised that Pelosi struck down the resolution, She and Jackson look so much alike.

We all have our opinions about Michael Jackson. And it is quiet evident to see the racial divide in this country. When can those that have their prejudices say enough is enough.

He was a great entertainer, a human being, ruined his life and now his loved supporters are coming out of the woodwork so they can have their 15 minutes of fame.

Being acquitted does not make you innocent.
He was a drug abuser.
He paid 25million in hush money to one molestation accuser.
He admitted to sleeping with small children, unsupervised, on a regular basis.
Given all that potential baggage this is not a race issue just a question of whether or not the man deserves to be honored as some great person given he was a drug addict and potentially a child molester.

Future, if MLK had been a prescription drug abuser who died of an overdose, slept regularly with strangers small children, paid people off to not bring him to trial and had been acquitted of child molestation charges but not found innocent, do you think there would be a holiday for MKL???????
