Netbooks encroaching on notebooks’ turf
Taiwan’s Quanta Computer manufactures a lot of notebooks for a lot of companies. Apparently Quanta lost a little moolah in August and is blaming the 18.5% revenue drop on the increased popularity of netbook computers as they chip away at demand for standard notebooks.
