AIG bonuses: $235 million to go

Troubled insurer AIG has asked the government's 'pay czar' to review hundreds of millions more in bonus payments to employees of its most crippled division. » Full Story on CNNMoney.com

Not a dime, not a damn dime to these criminals. AIG houses the architect of this financial mess Joe Cassano who on his own managed to make $500 billion (yes that's billion with a "B") disappear while at the same time pocketed $280 million for himself. Funny he lives in the UK.
AIG was never too big to fail, it just had too many members of that elite club know as the "Fed". All thanks to Hank Paulson for the original bailout too.
Strange how you can take down an entire country's (if not the world's) economy and there is not a single voice of domestic terrorism whispered.

Hey, why aren't the rest of US government employees entitled to a possible bonus. Sounds discriminatory to me. lol. This time it may be staged and the government will deny the bonuses to make the "populists" i.e. the people of this country feel good. We shall see. Let's see how the American Congress makes out auditing their Master...The NonFederal Reserve. It will never happen. It would probably be scary if it did happen.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT !! Even if your elected official is your neighbor, your friend, your enemy, or a relative. If we send 100-200 of them packing in 2010, I bet the rest will listen to us then.

Here is a better idea. Let's take the 235 million dollars and use it try all the traitors for treason from those at AIG, to the terrorists at Citigroup funding Al Quada, to all the traitors in power that voted to steal our money and give it to terrorist groups. Treasonists and traitors like these deserve to hang or at least to go to jail. What ever is left can then be returned to the us the citizens.

There is such a word as Accountability --AIG and it's top people do not deserve any bonuses they are for people if ever need that do a exceptional Job! Most of these bonuses are paid out of fear on what will come out if they don't keep their mouths fed with Money--but Not Our Money---Don't know what name the are hiding under now or rock we should search them out and make your we are not contributing to their wealth in anyway anymore by being clients of their entities.
Maybe if the big guys have to go to the streets looking for jobs and let them they will learn about the real World they created with all their ungodly Greed......Down with AIG do not let they behave like this on my tax dollars.

Hate to be bearer of bad news, but the bonuses are paid to AIG employees maybe winning BETS as to who would falter first in this witch hunt of terrorists that were never caught .. and Who really plotted 9-11-01.. I think AIG dispersed secret ops money to CIA and reverse covert groups to find that. Its not business as usual for insurance company giant.. Question is.. DOES OBAMA know this?Govt pyramid scheme??

so much for self policing, I couldn't live with myself if I gave myself more than an american's average salary (45k near where I live) and yet these men and women are completely comfortable letting others starve to death.

It's sad though aig is not alone, check out this article from 2005!

Congress today announced that the office of President of the United
States of America will be outsourced to India as of September 1, 2009.

The move is being made in order to save the President's $500,000 yearly
salary, and also a record $750 billion in deficit expenditures and related
overhead that his office has incurred during the last 3 months.

It is anticipated that $7 trillion can be saved to the end of the
President's term

Invite third parties to your Tea Party. We invited the Constitution Party and the Libertarian Party to ours. If we keep putting the Dems and Pubs in office, we are all screwed. We need real change. America should be the industrial capitol of the world but instead, they moved our industry to China and Mexico. We have went back 200 years by giving away the foundation of our country. Without a solid foundation in industry and farming, we will stay on the decline.

Not A Friggin' Dime is right! If they don't like it, they can walk out the door and f*&CK up some other investment bank or insurance giant, good luck to them! It's gonna cost a fortune to get AIG out of this mess regardless of who's doing the job, so the buggers who got them in to this mess should be fired, no bonus, no donut... FIRED! lucky not to be JAILED! Criminals!

I called my senators and representative and told them if this happens, then I am walking the district and state against them. This is not what we elected them for.

People need to march on all aig offices and simply stand there and quietly block entrance. Get there early and fill up the parking lot. Once some one opens aig up, stand in line and say you are interested in their services. Waste their time as they have wasted our money.

This would be legal. NO one can show any law was broken unlike with the aig folks.

We learned last night on Phoenix NBC local news that the Social Security Adminisration is holding a National manager's weekender at a Phoenix resort for 100's at a cost of $750 thousand. The SSA's only comment was that at least this isn't funded by bailout monies.

All the griping in the world is not going to stop these aholes from getting a bonus. It doesn't matter that this company hasn't turned a profit in years or that there are some people still without jobs and have lost all of their retirement. They want what they want and they will get it. Come hell or high water these lowlifes will get their bonus and not feel one ounce of shame. They don't give a rats ass about anyone other than themselves. How they could even possibly be thinking about a bonus beyond imagination.

This whole Wall Street/Banking/Mortgage industry crap makes me wanna holler!!!!!! AUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHH!

If only these corrupt AIG big wigs conscience were as big as their nerve for asking for these bonuses we would all be a little better off right now. Americans need to get off their asses and start lining the streets with their concerns. What are we afraid of? Hell, the Iranians did it and they even knew of the serious repercussions that would follow. We are way too laid back, and it's gonna wipe us out in the end.
