Submitted: Jul 3, 2008 - Kent Snyder, whom U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas credited as being a strong force in his latest presidential bid, has died. He was 49. Snyder, a Kansas native, died from viral pneumonia June 26 in Arlington, Va., said Jesse Benton, a spokesman for Paul's presidential campaign. Snyder also managed Paul's 1988 presidential campaign on the Libertarian ticket.
