Do you really believe that making guns illegal would prevent any shootings? It's rare that a shooting is committed by a licensed gun owner. I think I see a pattern forming here, and it doesn't look good. Violence begets violence. Even though the Orlando incident isn't remotely connected to the Fort Hood tragedy, it doesn't take much to push these nut jobs over the edge. Every time a disturbed person goes stone cold crazy and shoots up the joint, it just gives the next crazy dude more incentive to go out and do the same. It's scary. And this whole Second Amendment, "Well, I would've blown him away with my gun," crap doesn't apply here. What DOES apply is that this world is getting more dangerous by the day, and we all need to keep our eyes and ears peeled for any whispers of potential insanity from those around us. If somebody would have pulled the plug on Dr. Hasan back in May, when there were allegations of mental and religious issues, we wouldn't have to bury thirteen brave soldiers.
