Health Care Passes House

I'm quietly confident...more hurdles to jump, but certainly makes worthwhile the time and money I've been investing in helping get health insurance reform at least considered in Congress.

"Democrats were intent on passing "a jobs-killing, tax-hiking, deficit-exploding" bill."

This statement says it all. Welcome to Obama-Pelosi health care - you'll need it because you won't have a job and those that do won't have insurance because companies won't pay the tax on their health care policies. The rich will leave the country, stop investing and creating jobs, or simply decide they don't need to make more income that will only get taxed. The deficit well... we'll end up the newest 3rd world country.

It's time to start contact senators. Those congressmen and women better fear for their jobs. They're gone in 2010. This was Obama and Pelosi bullying, lying, and manipulating facts to get this passed. and I just finished taking a 3 hour railroad sh*t. Tell me the difference between what THEY passed and what I passed?

We knew it would pass because it passed in August before they read it by a landslide. Now it barely passes. The Senators like their jobs and want to keep them. Common sense will prevail and pushing America to bankruptcy is NOT the answer. We can overhaul the healthcare for those that WANT to work and keep the freeloaders on welfare with simple coverage for a simple life they choose. Our government let America down yesterday in a historial moment and reading these blogs makes me see racism at its worse. THANKS FOR THE CHANGE obuma!

It will limit access and penalize( and eventually destroy) the forces that create innovation and reduce costs through free market competition. What peace of mind is there in knowing a government bureaucrat with 0 accountability will determine what an acceptable insurance plan is and then tax you as much as $3000+ if you don't have their version of acceptable. Can you not see the enormous conflict of interest in even this small example????

This Bill is a joke and we can only hope that there are stronger spines in the Senate to stop this. This Bill is all about Nancy Pelosi's legacy; plain and simple. If it's such a good plan why was an amendment to force our politicians into this plan defeated?? Doesn't that give major pause to any of you supporters out there; if its a good plan for us why isn't it a good plan for them?? Are you supporters really that stupid??? 2000+ pages of nonsense; premiums will go up, Medicare gets cut, the only jobs created will be government ones to run this fiasco and we will NOT be able to keep our current plans. Open your eyes, ears and minds Comrades.....

Only in America can the people speak and not be heard. At least you get killed in other countries for speaking out. Taxation without representation is alive and well again and it's time for everyone to stand up and take this country back from our captures. Freedom is but an allusion to keep the rich, rich and the poor, POOR. The tipping point for our country is coming soon people. Once the people on assistance outweigh the ones that pay for everyone to be on assistance, well then maybe you stupid idiots will want to stand up and fight. I'm ready for it, are you? I told you that the health bill would pass - no matter what! We are headed down an ugly road & no one can do anything about it....it has been foretold & shall be. The next 2 & 1/2 years will be very hard, depressing, oppressing, evil as Obama just gets his way in all affairs (except the olympics - not really necessary anyway for his agenda).

Obama gets his way, because it is only fair the devil's people have the same amount of time that Jesus did to campaign for followers. 3 & 1/2 yrs for each & Obama already used up 11 months so far......we are approximately 1/3 the way through, BUT the ugly truth is times get worse for most of us. Time cannot move fast enough for the suffering!

This is not a perfect bill, but anything that helps protect Americans from the insurance mafia cartel is better than nothing.
